Country Director, Nigeria, African Energy Association
Tosin is the Country Director of African Energy Association in Nigeria. Tosin is an exceptionally passionate professional with a strong technical background in Engineering and project management. He is an effective communicator with core skills in stakeholder interface/relationship management and project delivery across the energy value chain.
Tosin worked with Ariosh Limited as a laser data engineer and later served as a Project Engineer on several onshore and offshore facility upgrade projects in Nigeria and as Client Interface Coordinator on the delivery of several projects in Nigeria.
He rose to the position of Business Development Coordinator in Ariosh before joining Acergy S.A (Now Subsea 7) as a Hook-Up Engineer under the Topsides and Commissioning Unit based in Suresnes, France. While with Acergy, he participated in the successful Installation of the 4th (LP) Compressor on ExxonMobil’s offshore GN platform.
In 2010, he joined AMEC, the UK-based company providing Project Management services to the global oil and gas market. He served as a Construction/Projects Engineer on the Major Integrity Projects (MIPs) work program which included QIT Power Distribution Upgrade Project, QPDUP for ExxonMobil’s main terminal in Nigeria.
Tosin joined Suffix Energy Solutions Limited, an integrated services company in Nigeria involved in engineering, procurement and construction management in oil and gas, power and infrastructural services in 2012 as Head, Business Development, forging viable relationships with clients as well as creating strategic niches for the services of Suffix Energy Limited in the industry. His role in Suffix Energy includes screening potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, regulatory requirements, potentials, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities and recommending equity investments.
Tosin Yusuff holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria.
